1. Scope and Application
These Game Rules govern participation in the AfriMillions 6/49 Lottery and must be read in conjunction with the AfriMillions Terms of Service at www.afrimillions.com/terms. All general eligibility, account, payment, AML, privacy, and regulatory provisions in the Terms of Service apply. In case of conflict, these Game Rules prevail for 6/49 Lottery-specific matters.
2. Game Format
2.1 How to Play
Players select six (6) numbers from 1 to 49, either manually or using Quick Pick (automatic random selection). Prizes are awarded by matching drawn numbers.
2.2 Ticket Details
- Cost: ₦1,000 per line
- Lines per ticket: Up to 7 (online purchases)
- Multi-draw: Purchase up to 4 consecutive weekly draws with the same numbers
- Sales close: 6:00 PM WAT on draw day
- Tickets are non-refundable once issued
2.3 Purchase Channels
Tickets may be purchased via:
- AfriMillions website and mobile app
- Authorized retail agents and POS terminals
3. Draw Schedule and Procedure
Draw Frequency: Weekly, every Saturday at 8:00 PM WAT (or as may be published on www.afrimillions.com)
Draw Procedure:
- Six (6) numbers drawn randomly from 1-49 using LSLGA-certified Random Number Generator (RNG) software
- No bonus or supplementary numbers
- Draws supervised by independent auditor or LSLGA representative where required
- Results published on AfriMillions website and app.
Randomness: Lottery Numbers and raffle winners are drawn using an industry-certified Random Number Generator (RNG) software provided by ALOT Systems, certified for fairness and audited in accordance with the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA) regulations.
Draw Postponement/Cancellation: If a draw cannot proceed due to technical failure, regulatory direction, or force majeure:
- Draw may be postponed (new date announced on website), or
- Draw may be cancelled with full refunds to affected tickets
Results Publication:
- Published on www.afrimillions.com within 1 hour of draw
- Official results confirmed within 24 hours
- Winners notified by email, SMS, and in-app notification
4. Prize Structure

- Jackpot is pari-mutuel and rolls over if not won. If multiple jackpot winners, prize pool is shared equally.

Odds are based on a single line. Past draws do not influence future results.
5. Second Chance Raffle
Automatic Entry: All eligible 6/49 Lottery tickets shall be entered at no extra cost.
Raffle Draw: The Raffle Draw shall be held after the lottery draw. Winning tickets shall be drawn at random using certified Random Number Generator (RNG) software.
Prizes: The sum of ₦100,000 may be won by at least one (1) Player, and the sum the sum of ₦20,000 may be won by at least one (1) Player. The number of winning prizes shall be determined by the number of tickets sold in the lottery with at least one (1) raffle draw winner guaranteed.
Additional Prizes for Special Occasions on the 6/49 Draw: On occasions to be solely determined by AfriMillions, a Player who gets 5/6 correct numbers on the 6/49 Draw may, in addition to their N1,000,000 award, be awarded a sum of up to ₦9,000,000 PROVIDED always that such a Player:
- Agrees to be an Afrimillions brand Ambassador following the additional Prize award.
- Agrees that under the brand Ambassadorial duties, he/she shall consent to the use of his/her full name and photograph as an AfriMillions Lottery Winner on all AfriMillions print and social media platforms.
- Attends the AfriMillions live show and other events for at least one (1) year.
Entry: One raffle entry per eligible line, per ticket. Multi-draw tickets shall receive one entry per line per draw.
Eligibility: Non-winning tickets from the previous draw.
6. Prize Claims
All prize claims are subject to our general terms and conditions and the game rules published by AfriMillions at www.afrimillions.com/terms.
7. Jackpot Payment Terms
The Jackpot winning is payable after 30 days of the winning draw only into a bank account with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) or United Bank for Africa (UBA) upon compliance with all regulatory and financial due diligence, including but not limited to physical presentation and verification of the winner.
Afrimillions is under obligation to comply with the rules and regulations of all working partners for the redemption of the Jackpot prize and the same obligation shall apply to winner without exception.
8. Game-Specific Provisions
8.1 Publicity
Winners consent to the use of their name, photograph, and location for promotional purposes by Afrimillions and its partners, unless a winner requests to opt-out from such consent at the time of the prize claim (subject to regulatory disclosure requirements).
8.2 Game Changes and Termination
AfriMillions may modify these Game Rules or discontinue the game with the approval of LSLGA and upon reasonable notice as may be practicable. Nevertheless, valid tickets shall be honoured.
